Creating assessments

Assessments are quizzes you attach to collections. Use them for pre-tests, knowledge checks, final exams, or lead capture.

Create an assessment

  1. Open the collection where you want the test.
  2. Go to the Assessments tab.
  3. Click New assessment.
  4. Fill in:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Pass score (default: 70%)
    • Time limit (optional)
    • Attempts allowed (optional)
  5. Save.

Add questions

Open the assessment and go to Questions.

  1. Click Add question.
  2. Write the question text.
  3. Add answer options and mark the correct one.
  4. Optionally add an explanation shown after answering.

Bulk import with CSV

  1. In the questions page, click Import CSV.
  2. Use the sample CSV format:
question,option_1,option_2,option_3,option_4,correct_index,explanation
What is 2+2?,1,2,3,4,4,Two plus two equals four.
  • correct_index is 1-based.
  • You can have 2 to 10 options.

Question settings

  • Shuffle options: show answers in random order per attempt.
  • Show correct answers: reveal correct answers immediately or after completion.
  • Show explanation: show the explanation text after a question.

Result settings

  • Pass score: percentage required to pass.
  • Show score: display the score to the candidate after submission.
  • Allow retake: let candidates make additional attempts up to a limit.

Access modes

Mode Who can take the test
Only people in my workspace Team members only.
Public link Anyone with the link, after entering name and email.
Only people I invite Candidates with a unique invite code.
People who can view this collection Anyone who has access to the collection: public, signed link, email grant, or collection password.

Choose the mode in the assessment Settings tab.

Linking to a collection

Each assessment belongs to one collection. If the collection is password-protected, candidates will need the password before they can reach the test.

Reports

After attempts begin, open the Reports tab to see:

  • Total attempts
  • Pass rate
  • Average score
  • Per-candidate results
  • Certificate status (issued / not issued)
